Our wedding ceremonies offer the bride and groom, options of semi-religious or religious Christian oriented, non-denominational ceremonies (meaning the ceremony is not specific to any one type of religion). We also invite you to present your own personal statements to each other in the ceremony! You can add to your wedding ceremony the Unity Candle lighting ceremony (indoor) or a beautiful Unity Sand Ceremony (great for either an outdoor or an indoor ceremony!). If you have any traditions personal to your heritage and beliefs, we are happy to accommodate special requests. Rev. Bruce Begault will create your personal ceremony, one that you will always remember!
On the first business day following your ceremony, Rev. Bruce will mail your signed and dated marriage license to the court where you obtained your license so that it can be recorded. Typically within a week of recording, your license is made available for you to pick up or can be mailed to you if you provided a self addressed stamp envelope. The VA Beach Clerk’s office charges $2.50 per certified copy and they prefer money order (no personal checks). You can pay cash in person, but never send cash in the mail. You must go in person together with proof of ID to obtain the license. You can go to any Virginia Circuit Court Clerk’s Office!
