First Landing State Park Wedding: Christina + Francisco

Christina and Francisco from Ruckersville, VA tied the knot on the beach at First Landing State Park on August 1, 2020! Featuring our Chesapeake Bay Dreams package, the couple upgraded to the 4 post arbor and added on a beautiful sola wood flower bouquet made by Victoria!

The sky was dark as we were setting up, which we should have taken as an omen. Shortly after Christina made her way down the beach aisle, the sky opened up on us right as the Mariachi band arrived on the beach! We had anticipated rain but not quite like what we experienced. We luckily had some umbrellas to cover the couple and keep them as dry as possible. Reverend Bruce quickly finished most of the ceremony and then we all made a run for it to the (thankfully) empty gazebo in the courtyard and finished the ceremony.

Reverend Bruce and myself (Maddie) broke down the ceremony site in the downpour! Luckily, the rain cleared up a bit and we were able to run back down to the beach and grab some photos.

The Mariachi band was MAGICAL to hear out on the beach and then in the stone gazebo! Check out the cell phone video at the end of this post!
