Perfect for those who want to be on the boardwalk where all the action is, the resort area is ideal for those who prefer the convenience of everything being in one general location. The boardwalk is also lined with hotels of several different price points to choose from. We no longer offer décor set-ups in the resort area due to the parking issues, but this is perfect for those who just want to walk out on the beach and say their nuptials!

Take out the boardwalk and hotels - add in the dunes - and you have our gorgeous north end of the resort area beach! Nestled in the residential neighborhoods, this area is ideal for elopements. Just a note - there are NO bathrooms, NO restaurants or hotels, and limited parking at the north end! Limited on street parking only. Sorry, no meters or parking garages up here. *One of our favorite locations*

Located on the Chesapeake Bay, First Landing State Park (originally Seashore State Park) is a huge piece of Virginia Beach history, marking the arrival of the Jamestown colonists from England in 1607! This beachside park is beautiful on it's own without any décor and has ample parking. Offering two access points within their park to choose from for your ceremony, this park has beautiful sunsets and dunes to give you that ideal backdrop. Keep in mind that it can be brutally hot and extremely crowded June through August, as this park is also a pet friendly RV campground.

If you are planning on spending a week in Virginia Beach and would even consider being under one roof with your family during that time, renting a private beach house in Sandbridge is the way to go! Ideal for small groups and perfect for smaller family gatherings who want to spend a week in the serenity of Sandbridge. check out Sandbridge Realty or Siebert Realty for rentals in that area!

$200 city permit required for any set-ups At the top end of Sandbridge, you can pay for parking at the market place and have your ceremony right here at the public beach access! Typically busy in the afternoons with our local sun bathers, this area is a great alternative for small and mid-size groups. There are also condos across the street perfect to rent for the week!

For those who live or are staying in the City of Norfolk, Oceanview is a great option! We love Sarah Constant Park! *Check with City of Norfolk for any necessary permits

$200 permit M-Th for VB Residents, $400 permit Fri-Sun for VB Residents + parking The only designated beach wedding area in all of Virginia Beach is nestled down in Little Island Park at the end of Sandbridge as you head toward Back Bay's National Wildlife Refuge. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, picnic shelters available for rent, a beautiful fishing pier nearby, and a playground great for the little ones! This location no longer offers chairs, but we can still offer services at this location.
